I was at the Chiefs' camp yesterday. It was Jackson's first day their so he didn't play much. Just watching him through drills and he does have such a quicker burst off the ball than anyone else on the team. Everyone said he was a reach at #3 overall....I just hope Pioli knows what he's doing.

You're right, the scheduling guru's don't like to make it easy on the Chiefs. Guys like Bowe, need to have someone who isn't a players coach, and someone who will get in their face to get the most out of them. It seemed to work for Larry Fitgerald and Anquan Boldin.

I loved Yang's attitude during all of this. Not only did he not back down to Tiger, but even on 18 up one stroke, he still went for the 'jugular' with one of the greatest clutch shots of all-time putting him with 10 ft. of the pin.

As a chiefs fan living in Minneapolis, I would have to say the people here are already mapping the parade route after the Super Bowl. I, for one am not drinking the Kool-aid, but I would have to say Favre is still a better option than anything else they have. I will reserve my prediction until after the pre-season.

Living in the Minneapolis area, yet another positive reason for Favre coming here is for a bid at a new stadium. Even winning the NFL north last year the Vikings couldn't sell games out. Favre = more ticket sales. More tickets = a better chance at a new stadium which would help the Vikings stick around Minneapolis for at least another decade.

I think their success last year was primarily due to their defense and running game. Delhomme has been inconsistent at best over the past 4 years. Now he's hitting the wrong side of the hill on top of his inconsistency. If they had a backup that anyone knew of he may not be playing next week.

If Franchez can't play in cold temps what is he doing in NY? I heard that excuse from a lot of media yesterday as to why he threw 5 picks.
When you're running, sweating for 3 hours in 30-40 degree temps, it feels more like 60 degrees. If that weather really affected the way he played yesterday, then he is a bigger 'sally' than we originally thought he was after did his Zoolander shoot for GQ.

RE: Breaking News: Jim Zorn fired as house cleaning begins (updated)

Zorn needed to go but I really didn't like how Snyder handled this situation. Why leave the guy on the hook for two months? I don't think he should have been talking to other coaches publicly with the intention of keeping Zorn until the season was over. He should have canned him 6 weeks ago.
