Rob

Rob is a NJ high school football coach who is a die-hard Yankees, 49ers, Penn State(football), & Duke(basketball) fan. He spends most of his time critiquing games now that he is coaching. Rob loves watching college football and prefers it to the professional ranks. He has followed his favorite teams for many years, but has enjoyed watching the local NJ teams. Rob can provide insight to what he sees, as well as what he feels needs to be said about the play and coaching of professional and collegiate teams. He looks forward to sharing his thoughts with sports fans.

John
John is 28 years old and a passionate fan of the Yankees, Giants, Knicks, Michigan Wolverines (college football), and Saint Peter's College (college basketball).  He is a former defensive lineman/fan of the Saint Peter's College Peacocks, before they dropped their football program a few years back.  That's right, our mascot name is the Peacocks!

John's all time favorite, retired players include Don Mattingly, Lou Gehrig, Scott Brosius, Lawrence Taylor, Phil Simms, Jesse Armstead, Mark Bavaro, John Starks, and Desmond Howard.  His favorite current players are Derek Jeter, Andy Pettitte, Mariano Rivera, Joba Chamberlain, Eli Manning, Justin Tuck, Antonio Pierce-I know he needs to go, Hakeem Nicks, and Tim Tebow.  My least favorite teams are the Red Sox, Mets, Bulls, and the Cowboys.  My least favorite franchise is the Philadelphia Eagles.  I cannot stand anything about them!  I cannot stand Pedro Martinez, Donovan McNabb, Michael Jordan, and Jerry Jones.

He is an assistant varsity football coach at Immaculata High School where he is responsible for the defensive line and special teams.  He graduated from Immaculata in 2000 where he played football and basketball.  In football, he was the team co-captain with Matt Hrutkay, and was named third team all-state honors his senior year by the AP.  Hack now serves as the Director of Development and Alumni Relations at Immaculata as well as the school's moderator for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  He also is a financial advisor.  John was married to Katie in 2007 and they reside in Somerville.

Jon
Jon is an avid sports fan, who is a fan of the Giants(football), Mariners, and Ohio State(football). He absolutely hates the Cowboys and Eagles. He claims he hates the Yankees, but he did root for them in this year's World Series due to his hatred of Philadelphia sports teams. Jon will bring his insight about sports to Double G Sports.

Mark

Mark is 26 years old and grew up in  Manville NJ and currently resides in Ewing. Mark spent most of his youth playing football, baseball and roller hockey. His favorite teams are the New York Giants, the New York Yankees and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. During the games of his beloved teams, you can find mark screaming obscenities at the television, trying to both motivate his players or being sure to let the umpires or officials know the calls they missed or that he disagrees with. He has been accused by some to he overly critical of his sports teams. Here is what Mark says about his attitude "I live and die with my teams, my mood for the evening, or even the week is often dictated by the performance of my boys on the field. I will not refrain from saying exactly what is on my mind or exactly how I feel about their play that game or recently."

Spenser

Spenser is a west coast homer for every thing, except his love of Yankees baseball (which he will most often refers to as 'The Dyansty'). He loves college football and being from Boise means one thing, BOISE STATE BRONCO FAN. Spenser is an advocate for an NCAA football playoff, however adopts the Boise State mentality of 'play with what we've got'. He feels the BCS, at least, provides a very interesting season. Spenser would also love to root for the Oakland Raiders but refuses to do so until Al Davis dies and/or sells. To bad for him, the 'Crypt Keeper' may never die and will most likely never sell.

So, these 5 knowledgeable sports fan and myself will do our best to keep you informed and entertained. This should be fun! Just keep in mind, its an "expert" panel.
